An auto loading ramp was used at Kewaunee beginning on May 27, 1983. It came from Manitowoc and was used with car ferry CITY OF MIDLAND 41 which has an upper deck for autos.

Ahnapee & Western's 300- series cars were ex Ex- Providence & Worcester boxcars which came to the A&W in 1980. Some cars were completely painted dark maroon/brown with simple white lettering; others simply had the P&W lettering patched over.
