The GB&W bought six RSD-15 locomotives from the Lake Superior & Ishpeming in 1989 with the intention that they would be used as a parts supply for the rest of their fleet. Several of the engines were pressed into service on sister railroad Fox Valley & Western but they were soon deemed too unreliable for service and were scrapped in the mid-1990s. |
