GB&W locomotive #313 was traded to the Minnesota Commercial Railway in 1993 and has been working on that railroad ever since.  In September 2008 the MNNR gave #313 a fresh coat of paint, but kept several distinctive GB&W visual traits including the white checkerboard pattern on the black side sills.

That is MNNR engineer and GB&WHS member Adam Clussman at the throttle of #313 in Midway Yard.  Adam grew up in Wisconsin Rapids and had the GB&W mainline near the backyard of his house. Adam got attached to the big red Alcos by the time he knew how to ride a bike, and he befriended GB&W engineer Frank Fitzgerald and other employees. He was hired by the MNNR in 2004 and qualified as an engineer in 2006 - due in part to the inspiration Frank Fitzgerald an other employees gave him as a child. Now he's operating the same locomotives they ran!

That's slug T1 behind the #313. It is usually found with the #313, and is nicknamed "Sluggo." It was originally Baltimore & Ohio #901, a Baldwin AS-16 road switcher.
